Another Stop At The LEGO Store, This Time In Copenhagen Airport

By

Not only did we stop at the LEGO Store in Copenhagen Kastrup Airport (CPH), but I even bought something for Augustine to keep him entertained. He’s over the moon and already in a much better state than he was this morning…

LEGO is a Danish company and the brand is very popular in Scandinavia. At CPH Airport, there is a LEGO store just around the corner from the SAS Lounge.

We stopped and Augustine had another field day. But this particular store was far better than the one at JFK because it had a special assemble-your-own mini-fig area. Essentially for 85 crowns (about 12 USD) you could custom build three mini-figures. I told Augustine he could go ahead and do this (even though boarding was about to begin for our SAS flight) and he was so excited…so much more excited than he was to get on a flight.

He asked me to help him look for pirate pieces (his favorite LEGO collection) and we were able to find an imperial guard officer and pirate. For this third mini-fig, he chose a shirtless guy “with nice abs.” Ugh, Lord help me not to be narcissistic or raise one…

I paid and we were off to our gate to catch the SAS flight. Augustine was smiling from ear to ear.
