Captain Tells Shirtless Passenger, “You’re Only Making Things Worse For Yourself!”

By

An EasyJet flight traveling from Turkey to the UK was forced to divert in Greece after at least one young man could not control his alcohol intake. His behavior became so bad, including removing his shirt and fighting with another passenger, that the captain even warned him to sit down and shut up.

Drunk Man Rips Off Shirt, Challenges Other Passenger On EasyJet Flight, Forcing Desperate Plea From Captain

An unnamed man can be seen standing in the passenger cabin of an EasyJet A320 jet with his shirt off as other passengers yell at him for his “bullying” behavior onboard. The video does not show how the trouble started, but the young man appears intoxicated. Another passenger in a white puffer vest (foolishly) engages him and the two fight until they are separated by a flight attendant.

His poor behavior on a flight from Antalya (AYT) to London (LGW) last month prompted the captain to declare an emergency and divert the flight to Athens (ATH). Passengers erupted in anger when informed of the diversion, with some standing up to challenge the young man (also not helpful…).

Video shows a flight attendant breaking up two passengers while the captain can be heard on the PA system warning everyone to sit down and lamenting, “To the people who are fighting, the police are waiting for us at the gate. You are only making things worse for yourself. Please sit down.”

Other passengers angrily condemned the young man for delaying their journey home, using words that I will not repeat but you can see in the video below.

Flying back to Gatwick from Antalya, Plane gets diverted to Athens because of the topless guy. The other guy gets involved and ends up getting booted off as well

The video was posted with the warning, “Flying back to Gatwick from Antalya, plane gets diverted to Athens because of the topless guy. The other guy gets involved and ends up getting booted off as well. Big shout out to the flight attendants, who did amazing.”

Yes, another reminder that alcohol and flying can be a very dangerous mix…
