Flight Attendants Lose Control: Passengers Party On Seats, Gyrate From Overhead Bins

By

As a party broke out on a budget carrier in South America, the question is where were the flight attendants?

Flight Attendants Nowhere To Be Seen As Passengers Party On Seats, Swing From Overhead Bins

Flight attendants were nowhere to be seen as a pair of passengers lifted themselves up and grasped the overhead bins to gyrate over other people’s seats during a Flybondi flight. Flybondi is an Argentine budget carrier based in Buenos Aires that operates a fleet of Boeing 737-800 jets. It seems other passengers did not mind: if you watch the video below, there is all sorts of howling and hooting and filming going on…

There are many reasons this conduct is not recommended, including that turbulence can strike at any time and also that we should respect the property of others, including airline seats which have a lifetime far longer than one flight.

Can you imagine sudden turbulence sending those two flying through the cabin, injuring themselves and others?

Sorry to be a killjoy, but this sort of behavior is for a nightclub, not an airplane cabin.

That said, it’s a wonder this did not happen on a flight from England to Spain…it’s not just the Brits and Americans that act up. In fact, when I heard it happened on Flybondi and saw the video, my first thought was that it must be some Australian budget carrier I had never heard of and clientele to match…

I’m glad there were no injuries, but this sort of behavior is always inappropriate on airplanes and bolsters the argument of those who argue that alcohol should not be sold onboard…
