Sumptuous Coffee In Tunisair Lounge

By

I’m live-blogging my SAS EuroBonus SkyTeam Milion Mile challenge this week. Click here for background and route information.

After our transit delay at Tunis Airport, we only had about 15 minutes before boarding our Saudia flight to Jeddah, but that was more than enough time for a great cup of coffee in the airport’s only lounge run by Tunisair.

I reviewed the Tunisair Espace Privilege Lounge in 2022 and was pleased to see it had improved again, with new furniture giving more privacy and improved wi-fi.

Last time I did not even bother to order a coffee because I only saw the Nespresso machines at the bar. Those are still there, but since I only had a small cup of coffee in the Air France Lounge in Paris a few hours earlier, I ordered one, thinking I could tolerate it for the caffeine hit.

But that machine wasn’t used…instead anotehr machine in the back was used that must have been mroe manual becuase a very delicous cofefe came out:

So good I had another, which was even better than the first and served in a cuter cup:

I very much appreciated the coffee.

While I did not eat anything, the lounge had a respectable spread of food and drinks.

The improved lounge makes me want to fly Tunisair again…
